FUTURE SIMPLE (will+ infinitive) FUTURE CONTINUOUS (will + be-ing)
1) decisions about the future made at the moment of speaking                                                                        e.g. OK, I'll phone her.  1) actions in progress at a certain time in the future                                                        e.g. This time tomorrow I will be flying to London.
2) predictions                                                                  e.g. It will be hot tomorrow. 2) actions that have been planned for a certain time                                                          e.g. They 'll be arriving at lunchtime.
3) promises                                                                    e.g. I will call you as soon as I get home.  
4) offers                                                                        e.g. I'll do that for you if you want. be going to + infinitive
5) requests                                                                    e.g. Will you help me with my homework? 1) something we intend to do in the future                                                              e.g. I'm going to visit my grandparents soon.
6) warnings / threats                                                          e.g. If you cheat again, I'll tell the teacher 2) a prediction based on evidence                e.g. It's very cold; the water is going to freeze.
7) after certain verbs: believe, hope, suppose, expect, think, know                                                                             e.g. I hope she will get the job.  
8) with probably, certainly, perhaps                                  e.g. Perhaps John will help you.  
tomorrow, this (afternoon), tonight, next (week), before long, in a moment… this time next (month), tomorrow, tonight, soon, at the weekend, before long this afternoon…
FUTURE PERFECT SIMPLE (will have+pp) FUTURE PERFECT CONTINUOUS                   (will have been -ing)
1) future actions that will have happened before a certain time point or another action in the future                              e.g. He will have finished his project by midnight. actions in progress up to a certain time in the future                                                         e.g. He will have been working as a teacher for five years by June.
2) to express a belief about the present                        e.g.He will have found his keys by now.   
by tomorrow/this evening/Friday/then, by the time, before, not…until by tomorrow/this evening, by Friday, by next month/year, by December, by then, before…

timetables / schedules                                                    e.g. Our train leaves at two o'clock. planned actions in the near future                     e.g. I'm meeting my friends later.
