In this course, we will focus on developing a range of skills and knowledge. More specifically:

In order to develop your language skills, we will engage with a variety of texts to enhance comprehension and critical thinking. Emphasis will be placed on different writing styles and listening exercises will include understanding spoken English through various media. Opportunities for speaking will be integrated into lessons through discussions, presentations, and group work.

Apart from language skills, lessons will be tailored to your interests, incorporating topics that are relevant to your lives, such as social issues, technology, and popular culture. Implementing projects, such as creating a class newspaper or conducting research on a relevant topic, will allow you to apply your language skills in practical contexts while promoting collaboration. Finally, group work and interactive activities will make communication more effective and learning more dynamic.
