GeoScience: Geoparks and GeoGames around Europe, ID: 161116.

Description: As part of the program, students will study new scientific terms. The Geotopo, the Geopark and their characteristics, studying similar structures in Greece and the wider Mediterranean basin. They will acquire basic knowledge by studying the geological evolution of regions and at the same time they will get to know the imprint of the genesis and action of Tectonics in the Earth's crust. Collaborating online and live with schools in Greece and abroad, they will undertake initiatives and actions to become active citizens ready to manage possible natural disasters as well as areas of unique natural beauty (Geoparks) by looking back at the History and Culture of the areas to be studied.
