Module 7: Pride and  Prejudice by Jane Austen II *Reading (Adapted) Parts of the Novel accompanied by Videos *

In Part II we will read parts of the novel, complete tasks from the book, watch a movie clip from the book's adaptation and explore the world of Jane Austen by watching a video.

Your Assignments: 

• Go to page 81 and answer the questions in Ex. 1 before reading the text.
• Read the text and complete Ex. 2 page 81.
• Continue reading the adapted summary on pages 82-83, then watch the Movie Clip.
• Next, do the Glossary Matching and the exercise that follows.
• Take a break by visiting Fashionista webpage to read about Bridgerton Costumes and the Regency Era.
• Watch a video on Jane Austen and her novels and complete the task provided in a Document.
• Read the Docs. on Irony used in the novel and Society of the time and watch the videos by The British Library .
• Finally, do the tasks on these TWO Videos with Prof. Sutherland in Oxford University.
