It was a good thing we bought the tickets early on the Internet, through the museum . They weren't cheap, of course ( costs 16.50 pounds per adult, almost 19 Euro), but they were much cheaper than on the door. But it was definetely worth it! There is no musem in Athens, and I always wanted to get a taste of how people in old cities moved around. I loved the , with the horses' and the driver's figures. I also liked the Underground part, especially the exhibition that showed how people slept in the to save their lives from the bombs during the 2nd World War. The famous double buses and the trams great too! We sat on an omnibus and I took a picture where the figure seems to be checking my ticket. I don't know why my wife and daughter didn't like any of it. They said it was the most boring museum they had ever seen. Go figure! Anyway, not everyone has great taste and later I accompanied them to the flower market, so everyone was happy!
