Course Description
The Starry Night re- imagined: Seeing the world through Van Gogh's eyes
Project goal: Perform a comprehensive analysis of a Van Gogh's painting, exploring its historical context, technical composition and critical reception.
- Conduct an in- depth research into the social and personal context surrounding a work of art
- Identify and explain key post- impressionist technical elements (brushwork, colour theory)
- Structure and design a clear, visually engaging presentation using academic standard
- Articulate a formal visual analysis of a painting
