Welcome to the 1st year of the Model Senior High School! I am delighted to be your English teacher for this school year.

Starting Upper Secondary School is an important step, and doing so at a Model School means you already bring strong foundations, curiosity, and motivation. Our English class will build on that. My goal is to create a supportive, engaging, and challenging environment where you can develop your language skills with confidence and become more independent learners.

This year is not only about grammar and vocabulary. It is about communication. We will explore ideas, discuss topics that matter to you, and practise using English in real and meaningful contexts—whether for your future studies, international exams, travel, or your future career.

What you can expect from our class:

·         A variety of materials: textbooks, authentic articles, videos, projects, and group work.

·         A focus on effort and progress: mistakes are a natural part of learning, and participation matters.

·         A respectful and supportive atmosphere: we will listen to each other and learn together.

·         High expectations, with support: as students at a Model School, you are capable of aiming high, and I will be there to help you every step of the way.
