Dear students,

I hope you had a wonderful summer and are feeling refreshed and ready for a new school year! It's a real pleasure to be your English teacher again this year — having worked with you last year, I'm looking forward to building on everything we accomplished together and taking things even further.

This year, our English class will focus on developing your skills and confidence in English, while exploring topics that connect language learning to real-world issues. We'll be working with the textbook and additional materials, and I'll be using this e-class page regularly to share materials, assignments, useful links, and announcements — so please check in often.

A few things to keep in mind as we start:

• Bring your book and notebook to every lesson.
• Check e-class regularly for updates and homework.
• Don't hesitate to ask questions — in class or through e-class messages.

I'm excited about the year ahead and confident that, together, we'll make real progress. Welcome back — let's make this a great year!
