1st Activity

Get into mentimeter and complete the questionnaire. When you have completed your answers we will all look at them and comment on them.

2nd Activity

After reading  the text Human Rights as a Way of Life  you will form 5 groups of 4 and complete the following tasks: 

Group 1 – Poster of Key Messages
Identify key words/phrases in the text that are related to human rights.. Convert three key messages into slogans and collaboratively create a poster in Canva with the slogans and appropriate images. Try to use visuals as well as text.

Group 2 – Rights & Responsibilities Table

Choose 3 rights and match them with responsibilities. The output must be a table on canva (Rights ↔ Responsibilities).

Focus on showing the balance between them.

Group 3 – Local Connections Infographic

Find 2–3  examples of rights respected or missing.Create an infographic on Canva with symbols/pictures.

Focus on connecting the article to real life.

Group 4 – Discussion Questions Visual

Propose 1 campaign or action to make rights real at your local community. Output: A campaign poster (slogan + steps).

Focus on showing how citizens can act responsibly.

Group 5 – School Action Plan Poster

Propose 1 campaign or action to make rights real at school. Output: A campaign poster (slogan + steps).Focus on showing how students can act responsibly
