Project Summary.
This project explores traditional games that children used to play in the past , in the partner countries . Students learn about the cultural heritage of play, revive old games in their schools, and compare similarities and differences across Europe. Through cooperacion and meaningful interaction, students create digital content and become active participants in cultural exchange
Objectives
- To discover and revive traditional children’s games
- To develop collaboration and communication skills in international groups
- To practice English as a foreign language in authentic contexts
- To use digital tools creatively (video, Padlet, e-book)
- To compare cultural elements across European countries
- To promote physical activity, creativity, and teamwork
Work Process
- Students collect information and share it on Padlet
- They introduce their own traditional games using videos
- Students try each other's games in their schools
- International groups create common final products
- Students reflect and evaluate their learning experience
Expected Outcomes
- Videos of traditional games
- Padlet collections
- International digital e-book
- Posters created by all partner schools
- Final discusion on forum between teams about what they learn
- Publication on partner schools’ websites

Parental consent has been obtained for student participation and publication of digital material. We follow GDPR and eSafety guidelines at all stages of the project.
Project Duration:Approximately November 2024 – May 2025
🪅 November 2024 (approximately) – Let’s Meet and Start!
- Teachers coordinate and plan the project.
- Online Welcome Meeting during the last week of November.
- Introductions: schools, teams, and project goals.
- Creation of the Welcome Page and Padlet Wall on TwinSpace.
🎮 December 2024 (approximately) – Discovering Traditional Games
- Students collect information about traditional games from their country’s past.
- Interviews with parents or grandparents.
- Upload findings (texts, photos, ) to the Padlet Wall.
💬 January 2025 (approximately) – International CollaborationStep – Working in International Groups
- Students form the countries us groups ( for example 3 Greek + 3 Italian ) via the Forum.
- Each group discusses and compares games, noting similarities and differences.
- Short reports are shared on TwinSpace pages.
🎥 February 2025 (approximately) – Let’s Play and Record!
- Each school records 3–4 traditional games played by their students.
- Upload videos to the “Our Videos” TwinSpace page.
- Design the project poster/logo titled “Italy – Greece: Playing Like in the Past!”
🤝 March 2025 (approximately) – Playing Each Other’s Games
- Each school chooses 1–2 games from another country and plays them.
- Take photos or short videos and upload them to TwinSpace.
📚 April 2025 (approximately) – Creating Our eBook
- Collect materials from all countries.
- Create a shared eBook with at least 3 games from each partner country.
- Upload the eBook to TwinSpace (“Our eBook” page).
- Post reflections in the Forum.
🎉 May 2025 (approximately) – Final Presentation & Dissemination
- Publish the final poster and eBook on the schools’ websites.
- Perhaps organize a final online meeting to present the results and celebrate the collaboration.
- Complete final evaluation and feedback.
