Let's Celebrate eTwinning Day!!!!

13 Paper Creations for eTwinning Day to choose from:
Origami (Folding)
The Yellow Star: A classic five-pointed star to represent the eTwinning and EU flags.
Unity Heart: A simple flat heart representing the friendship between partner schools.
Peace Crane: An iconic symbol of hope and international harmony.
Spring Tulip: Since it’s May 9th, folding a flower represents the "blooming" of new ideas.
Friendship Boat: Represents the journey schools take together across the "digital sea."
Message Airplane: A fun way to show how we send ideas across borders instantly.
The School House: A 3D house representing your local school in the project.
The Messenger Envelope: A simple fold to hold a "secret" message for a partner.
Kirigami (Cutting & Folding)
Paper Chain of People: A classic kirigami string of figures holding hands to show unity.
The "e" Logo: A stencil-cut of the eTwinning "e" that can pop up when the paper is opened.
Connection Bridge: A kirigami cut that allows a flat piece of paper to stretch into a bridge.
Sunburst Window: A circular kirigami cut (like a snowflake, but with sun shapes) to celebrate the bright future of the project.
The "V" Pop-Up Mouth: A single slit in a folded card that creates a "talking" mouth. Students can draw themselves around it to "speak" their message to partners
The Puppy Face: A square folded into a triangle with two "ear" folds. Students can draw different expressions to show "emotions of friendship."

The Canva Presentation Guide

Take A clear photo of your finished origami or kirigami piece.
Why did you choose this specific creation for eTwinning Day?
"I chose to create a [Name of Object] because..." (e.g., because it represents how we travel to meet our friends online.)
"My message for my eTwinning partners on May 9th is..." (e.g., let's keep creating beautiful stories together!)

You can also decorate your page on Canva with elements!!!!
Happy folding!
🌟 Task: Mathematics & Hope – Fractal Origami Celebration
Let’s celebrate Mathematics and Hope by decorating our school with lanterns, fractal origami shapes, and postcards with positive messages.
🧩 What are Fractals?
Fractals are shapes that repeat the same pattern in different sizes — like a picture inside a picture.
A famous example is the Sierpiński Triangle.
🌿 Fractals in Nature
We can see fractals in trees, snowflakes, clouds, and Romanesco broccoli — small parts look like the whole!
📐 Fractal Origami
By folding the same pattern again and again, we create fractal shapes:
🔁 Repetition • 📏 Different sizes • 🔷 Same pattern
✂️ Your Mission
Create one fractal origami decoration and one postcard with a message of hope.
We’ll hang everything together to turn our school into a Math & Hope gallery 💛
Heeey team! 🎉💻

Safer Internet Day is coming up and we’re celebrating in the most creative way with two awesome activities that mix tech, art, and teamwork!

First, you’ll become digital artists and mini coders in our Coding Coloring Challenge, where you’ll use code to unlock and color a picture — brains ON, creativity ON, boredom OFF .

Then we’re joining other students for a Collaborative Letter Collage, and our assigned letter is D — but not just any D… we’re turning it into a TANGRAM design using cool geometric shapes like triangles and squares, so get ready for puzzle power.

We’ll show how the internet connects people, how teamwork makes everything better, and how learning can be fun and creative at the same time. Bring your imagination, your team spirit, your focus mode, and of course your big smile — let’s make something amazing together!
Geometrical shapes!!!! We are making our own Board Game! Let's do it! :)
Happy New Year, my lovely eTwinners and welcome back!

This is the quiz for our collaborative story! 📖✨
We’ll do it together in the classroom, but you can also re-read the story and watch it again whenever you like.
Feel free to answer the questions on your own, at your own pace—no rush!
