In this unit we will be working on the topic of racism and racial discriminations through your book texts and additional material you will find here. You are asked to do the following:

Before class 

• Play the vocabulary game 'Quizlet' with words from p.83 of your book to learn and practise the relevant vocabulary
• Study p.83 of your book with the biography of Martin Luther King
• read the additional background information on the Civil Rights Movement on the website given. You can use the link of the onling dictionary for unknown words

After class

• Do the exercise to practise comprehension of the reading text p.83
• Create a team presentation of Martin Luther King using the information on your book, the conclusions you reached working in your team at Webex and the additional information on the Civil Rights Movement given above.
