Write a paragraph about the place you live, where your parents work and how they get there.  You can use the following clues to write your paragraph:

big/small place in the north/south/west/east of Greece. My mum works
in a(n) _____ and she goes to work by /on  __________. My dad works in a(n)

__________________ and I like it very much.

Collect information and pictures about a city / town in Greece, Europe or another part of the world and prepare a presentation of this place. You can use encyclopedias, websites, travel guides or any other source of information you may think of. Use the following writing plan to help you organise your information and write your presentation:

INTRODUCTION

• Name of the town/city.
• Location (where is it?)

PARAGRAPH 1

• The surroundings (e.g. Is it near the sea/ near a mountain/ near a lake etc)
• The weather (What is the weather like in winter and / or summer?)

PARAGRAPH 2

• Interesting sights to see, places to visit or things to do.

CONCLUSION

• Give your opinion and/or
• Give an interesting fact about this place
