FAST FASHION: Introduction Part I (Definitions and Fair Trade Foundation)
In Module 6 we will try to define Fast Fashion, its impact on both consumers and the environment, exploring means to raise our awareness and tackling the issue. We will visit relevant web sites and Fairtrade Foundation,How it works which is part of the solution.
Your assignments:
- Go to your book and do the quiz How Green are you? page 66. Do also Ex.2, stating your view on page 67.
- Read the introductory documents on Fast Fashion and Fairtrade and complete the tasks.
- Listen to the Audio on Clothes by BBC Learning English (follow the transcript for extra help)
- Consult the links of the official webpages to form your own opinion.
- Watch the Videos (The Economist and Fairtrade Foundation) and do the relevant tasks (go to the document)
