Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen: Introducing the author, the era and the society's norms.
In Module 7 we will "meet" Jane Austen and her great literary work, Pride and Prejudice. We will explore Jane Austen's life, follow her footsteps in Bath and Southampton, learn about the era, visit webpages and watch videos.
Your assignments:
- Study the documents on Jane Austen's biography, Regency Period and an Overview of the novel by ThoughtCo.
- Follow Jane Austen in Bath and Southampton on a power point presentation.
- Visit the links/webpages (Bath/Southampton/Historical Context of the novel).
- Watch the Videos: Jane Austen Centre in Bath (Click on the link) and A Summary and Analysis by CourseHero. Then, complete the worksheet on both videos.
